Hi Daniel,

I run a small non-profit that produces health related and social issue oriented documentaries for young people. A friend of mine just finished an e-book (though she also had it printed) about growing up in Sugar Hill during the 50's and 60's. The book is titled, "Sugar Hill: Where the Sun Rose Over Harlem." She lived on Edgecombe Avenue in Sugar Hill and as a little girl met some of the greats who lived in and frequented Sugar Hill at that time. Her website promoting the book is: TerryBakerMulligan.com. I am putting together a very short video intro about her book, which includes pictures of some of the places and people she mentions in her book. This short video will play on her web site. Your beautiful "Morning sun splashing on sugar hill" would be a perfect addition to this short video intro, and I am hoping that you will give me permission to include it in the video. The video will only be shown on-line, has no commercial value, is not for sale or download, and will be used solely to help promote the book. Your work is beautiful, and I appreciate your time and consideration of my request! Thank you, Steve Schoolman

Yea verily--we who went to R.I.T. will always be indebted to--The Great Yellow Father, as we called Kodak. Many happy days in the dark room with sloshing and churning are lifetime memories that will not be handed down to our future generations--alas.
too bad we can't mix up some Na2S2O3 have a slug and fix it right?
Nice tribute thanks for writing it.

[...] This is not the first inexplicable thing I’ve found in Inwood Hill Park. It is, however, far more bizarre. I couldn’t really get a good angle to capture the whole…whatever…as it spanned fifteen or more feet in all directions. There were several more circles and lines cut into the ground surrounding the area. It appears the sticks in the circles were cut and thrust but I cannot rule out them being planted, allowed to grow and then cut off. The leaves were piled intentionally in the centers of the circles. Of course, that is not all: Anyone missing two pairs of men's jeans last seen on the hillside of Inwood Hill Park please leave a comment [...]
